"Being part of ECO UM as an exchange student was a great experience that really surpassed my expectations. The club's welcoming students are united by a shared passion for sustainability, creating a welcoming space for learning and collaboration. The balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application gave me the chance to learn more about different topics in the space. The hands-on projects further helped me learn and make an impact. As an exchange student, I felt warmly welcomed and gained valuable insights into American college culture, internships, and career preparations. For me, ECO UM was a valuable part of my exchange, I wouldn’t want to have missed; it's community that fosters personal growth, meaningful connections, and a shared commitment to building a sustainable future.
I hope future students can learn more about the intersection between business and sustainability. By working with businesses, students can learn which aspects are important for creating a sustainable future and which ideas are currently unrealistic hypotheses. This knowledge can help students better evaluate the feasibility of different scenarios in all areas of their work."
